I am a weaver and textile designer based in Coventry. I established my textile design business in 2011. I design geometric textiles that explore pattern, contrast and colour.

2014 - 2022 : Textile Art
In 2014, I was a participant in the Crafts Council’s Hothouse maker development programme. My experience on this scheme led me in a new direction, creating a series of textile art projects that explore ideas in science and mathematics: Permutations (2015); When Waves Collide (2016-18); Out of Synch (2019) and No Colour No Contrast (2021-2).
This work was shown at various venues and exhibitions including Handweavers Studio & Gallery, London; Farfield Mill, Sedbergh; National Centre for Craft & Design, Sleaford; New Brewery Arts, Cirencester; Complexity, Illinois USA.

2011 - 2025 : Handwoven scarves
Since 2011 I have designed and woven scarves, selling online and at craft fairs including Lustre, Nottingham; GNCCF, Manchester; MADE, London and Brighton; Warwickshire Open Studios and the Contemporary Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey.
Education
I originally studied Computer Science and worked in various areas of technology from the early 1980s through to the late 2000s. I started weaving as a hobby around the year 2000. I eventually returned to formal education through a part-time HNC in Fashion & Textiles at Bradford College (2008-9) and a Textile Design BA at University College Falmouth (2009-11).
